Picture Tutorial : Christmas Village 3d Advent calendar.

I recently received the Christmas Village Seasona Mini cart and was confused about the boxes.  I hope the Provo Craft considers enclosing some added instructions to the 3d creations on their minis. I first thought they were for support of the buildings.. but they were so tiny. After a lot of trial and error I figured out how to use them. I hope this helps you.

When you cut the buildings use the same size for the boxes so they fit in the openings.  The boxes can be cut larger if you wish to use them as gift boxes, but you would need to create your own top for them.

I love this new cartridge with all the cute images and easy layering.  Please be sure to watch the video for instruction on how I assembled the card using a sketch from Wishes. I also have a picture of the dimensional glitter I used on the beard .  If you have any questions let me know. I'm also thinking I need a new camera.. cant seem to get the focus correct.:(

embossing and adding rub-ons in one pass

Just a quick video to show you how great it is to emboss and add a rub-on in one pass with your cuttlebug. Makes for a nice quick card. I used the scrollwork frame by Provocraft and some rub-ons from my stash for this one.   If you try to add rub-ons by themselves with out embossing, you need a shim of cardstock to add some pressure since the rub-ons are thin.

Hello: Country Life Cartridge.

This is my first card for this blog. I hope you enjoy. The video is not as clear as I hoped (maybe because it's still updating... I hope it gets better ). The card is from Country Life. When I first got this cart, I thought I would never use it because its country. Once I started looking through the book, I found some great cuts such as the pitcher that I used in my card. I really like how it turned out. Thanks for visiting.

Cards 101 : the base

Hello everyone. Welcome to my new blog. I have been wanting to create this blog for a long time. I wanted to have a blog where I can share video tutorial using your Cricut. I know that there are lots of places out there with videos, so I'm glad that you have stopped here. I hope you enjoy the videos but most importantly, that you get inspiration from them.  Although this is The Cricut Spot, you will see me using many different products such as paper punches, Spellbinders dies, and various other tools. I am not promoting or advertising for any product or store, nor am I selling you anything.  I am simply sharing with you what I use. If you have any question on a particular product and want more details, please leave a comment or feel free to send me an email. Enjoy your time here and come often to see what new videos I have.
